Pueblo StepUp is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to positively impact the health, well-being and access to healthcare and wellness services for Pueblo’s underserved.
We provide access to health and wellness services for at-risk members of our community, including low-income, uninsured or underinsured children, families, pregnant women and seniors.
We serve over 7,000 individuals per year. These include people who visit our senior wellness clinics or receive free assistance enrolling in or managing their Medicaid or Child Health Plan Plus medical benefits.

Pueblo StepUp was formed in 2005 with the merger of Pueblo S.E.T. for Well-Being (founded in 1995) and Pueblo Coalition for the Medically Underserved (founded in 2002). Pueblo S.E.T. for Well-Being offered free monthly wellness clinics to low-income elderly. Pueblo Coalition for the Medically Underserved provided access to medical, dental and mental health services for low-income children.
The combined organization now reaches two distinct populations of the medically uninsured, underinsured and underserved.
